Emails from deleted deals are still tagged in Gmail

If emails still show Teamopipe labels after a deal was deleted, the Gmail label may not have cleared correctly. This most often happens with contact-level linking.

First steps

Refresh Gmail and reopen the email thread. Check whether another deal uses contact-level linking for the same email address — if so, open that deal and switch to thread-level linking.

Remove or hide labels in Gmail

Gmail Settings (gear icon) → See all settings → Labels tab → find the Teamopipe-created label → hide or remove it. Removing a Gmail label affects how it appears across all emails in Gmail but does not delete Teamopipe deals.

When to contact support

Email support@teamopipe.com if: the deal is deleted but the label remains, it appears on many old emails, or you cannot find any active deal linked to the contact. Send the affected email address — support can clear the stale tag manually.
