How to delete deals and keep your pipeline clean

Explains when to delete a deal, what deletion removes, and why closed deals should usually stay in a final stage.

Deleting deals is useful for tests, duplicates, and records that shouldn't exist. For real sales history, move finished deals to a final stage (Won, Lost, Not a fit) instead of deleting them.

Delete a deal

From Kanban card: three-dot menu on the card → Delete → Confirm. From deal detail: three-dot menu top-right → Delete → Confirm. Bulk delete: List view → select deals → bulk action menu → Delete.

What deletion removes

The deal record, its comments, tasks, and activity history are removed. Linked contacts are not deleted. Gmail email threads are not deleted. Gmail labels may persist in some contact-level linking cases — email support with the affected email address if that happens.

Export before major cleanup

Before deleting many deals: pipeline → three-dot menu → Export to CSV. This gives you a backup before permanent cleanup. Deleted deals cannot be restored from the interface.
