Why Teamopipe labels appear in Gmail
Explains why Teamopipe creates labels in Gmail and how they connect to pipeline stages.
Teamopipe creates Gmail labels to show CRM context in your inbox without requiring you to open the Teamopipe panel. When you look at a labeled email, you can see which pipeline stage it belongs to.
Where labels come from
When you create a deal from an email thread, Teamopipe applies a label named after the pipeline stage. When the deal moves to a new stage, the label updates. Labels are created automatically — you don't need to set them up.
How to manage labels in Gmail
Gmail Settings → Labels tab. You can hide Teamopipe labels from the sidebar without removing them. Removing a label from Gmail doesn't delete the deal in Teamopipe. If a label remains after a deal is deleted, refresh Gmail and check if another deal uses contact-level linking for the same address. Email support if the label persists.
