Stale deals and the data quality bar
Two alert bars sit at the top of Reports. They're the part of the page that tells you to go and do something, and each appears only when there's something to act on.
Stale deals (amber)
Open deals with no activity for your threshold — 14 days out of the box. The bar shows how many there are and their combined value at risk, because a forgotten 40,000 deal isn't the same problem as a forgotten 400 one. The full list sits at the bottom of the page with columns for Deal, Pipeline, Stage, Assignee and Idle days, most idle first. Click a row to open the deal and rescue it.
Activity means any of: an email linked to the deal, a note or comment, a field update, a stage change, or a status change. Simply opening a deal doesn't reset the clock.
Changing the threshold
Go to Settings → Workspace settings → Stale deal threshold, enter the number of days of inactivity, and click Save. It applies across the whole workspace. Pick a number that matches your cycle: a fast inbound pipeline might flag at 5 days, an enterprise one at 30.
Data quality (blue)
This one reads “X deals missing owner · Y deals missing value”. Click it to open the list, then fix the deals in place — see how to edit deal fields, or use List view to fill in several at once.
Why these two fields matter
- Missing value — the deal is excluded from money totals rather than counted as zero, which would understate your pipeline. More on value and currency.
- Missing owner — the deal can't be attributed to anyone, so it lands in an Unassigned row instead of a person's numbers, and the Owner filter can't find it. If the right person isn't in the list yet, invite them first.
Both bars ignore the Period filter — they always describe your pipeline right now. See the Reports overview for which numbers are snapshots and which move with the dates.
If anything looks off, use the chat in the bottom-right corner or the contact form at teamopipe.com/en/contact — we typically respond within 4 hours on business days.
