Reporting overview: how the dashboard works
Reports is one dashboard for the questions you ask every Monday: what's in the pipeline and what it's worth, what's stuck, who's closing, and what's likely to land this month. Every number is clickable — tap it to open the exact deals behind it.
Finding it
Open Reports from the left sidebar — it's in the same place whether you use the Teamopipe web app or the Gmail extension. Reports covers all your pipelines; use the filters at the top to narrow things down.
What to fill in first
Reports is only as good as the fields on your deals. Five things drive almost every number:
- Deal value — without it a deal counts toward deal counts but not money totals. Edit it on the deal.
- Expected close date — the axis the forecast is built on. No date, no forecast.
- Status — marking a deal Won or Lost is what feeds Won, Lost and win rate.
- Win % per stage — set in Settings → Pipelines. Until you set it, weighted value equals raw value. How probability works.
- Assignee — unassigned deals can't be attributed to anyone in the team table. Reports flags the gaps in its data quality bar.
Backward vs forward
Most of the page counts what already happened inside the period you pick. The Forecast is the only forward-looking section. So a few numbers ignore the period on purpose: Open deals, pipeline value and stale deals are always “right now” snapshots, while Won this period, Lost this period and win rate move with the dates. If a number doesn't change when you switch periods, that's intentional.
Filters
Three filters control the whole page: Pipeline, Period and Owner — see filtering your reports for what each one changes. Export to Sheets, at the top right, sends the current view to Google Sheets; there's more on exporting your data.
What's on the page
- Alert bars — stale deals and deals missing an owner or a value, shown only when there's something to flag.
- Four cards — Open deals, Won this period, Lost this period, Win rate.
- Forecast — what's expected to close, weighted by probability, plus what's already won, and a month-by-month table.
- Pipeline health / comparison — deals, value and average time per stage for one pipeline, or a side-by-side comparison across all of them.
- Stage conversion, plus Team totals per person and the full Stale deals list.
Money is in your workspace currency
Every total is shown in your workspace base currency. To set or change it, go to Settings → Workspace settings → Workspace base currency and pick from the Base currency dropdown. It's used for reporting totals and as the default currency for new deals.
Deals logged in another currency are converted for you — see how deal value and currency work in reports.
