How to use tasks in your daily sales routine
A practical daily routine for using Teamopipe tasks as your sales follow-up system.
Tasks are most useful when they become a daily habit. The goal: start each day knowing exactly what to follow up on, and end the day with a clear list for tomorrow.
Morning routine
Open Teamopipe → Tasks section → filter to Overdue and Due today. Work through these first. Mark done as you go. Any task you can't complete today — reschedule it with a realistic new due date, not just tomorrow by default.
Add tasks as you work
When you send a proposal, create a task: "Follow up if no reply by Thursday." When you finish a call, create a task: "Send contract by EOD Friday." Add tasks immediately while the context is fresh — not at the end of the day from memory.
Weekly review
Once a week: open the pipeline, look at every deal with no task and no recent activity. Create a task for each, or move it to a final stage if it's truly dead. Stale deals without tasks are invisible opportunities.
