How tasks and follow-ups work in Teamopipe
Explains how tasks help track next actions on deals, contacts, and organizations.
Tasks are how you make sure the next step actually happens. A pipeline shows where a deal stands; tasks show what you need to do next.
What a task is
A follow-up action with: title, due date, type (call/email/meeting), priority, assignee, status, and a link to a deal, contact, or organization. Good title: "Follow up with Emma about signed proposal on Thursday." Weak title: "Follow up."
Where tasks can be created
Inside a deal's Tasks tab, from a Kanban card, from the global Tasks section, or from a contact or organization page. Tasks created from a deal are linked automatically; tasks from the global Tasks section can be linked manually.
The global Tasks section
The Tasks section in the left sidebar shows tasks across your entire workspace. Use it as your daily follow-up list. From there you can search, filter by type/priority/status, bulk-select, and change the layout. Notification settings are in the Notifications section.
