How to link another email thread to an existing deal
Shows how to connect a new Gmail conversation to a deal that already exists in Teamopipe.
When a prospect emails you from a new thread — a follow-up, a reply to a different message, or a fresh email — you can connect it to the deal you already created.
Link a new thread to an existing deal
Open the email thread in Gmail → click the Teamopipe icon → search for the existing deal by name → select it → choose thread-level linking → Save. The new thread is now linked to the same deal.
Use thread-level linking here
When linking a second thread, always choose thread-level — not contact-level. Contact-level would pull all emails from that person into the deal, including unrelated ones. Thread-level keeps only this specific conversation attached.
Verify from the deal
Open the deal → Linked emails tab. Both threads should appear. If a thread is missing, repeat the linking steps from that Gmail thread.
