How to manage and move deals through stages

Moving a deal to the next stage is how you keep your pipeline accurate. Do it as soon as the real-world status changes — not at the end of the week.

Move from Kanban view

Drag the card from one column to another. Or click the card → open the stage dropdown in the detail panel → select the new stage. Kanban is best when you want a visual overview while moving deals.

Move from List view

Switch to List view (table icon top-right) → find the deal row → click the Stage cell → select the new stage. List view is faster when updating many deals at once.

If you see an 'invalid field' error

This is a known bug. Refresh Gmail and try again. If it persists, email support@teamopipe.com with the deal name and the stage you were moving it to.
