How custom fields work in Teamopipe
Custom fields let you track information that is specific to your business: deal value, lead source, contract type, close date, industry, or anything else you need.

Fields are central — visibility is per pipeline
Fields are created once in Settings → Data fields and can be used across the workspace. But you control where each field is visible. A Sales pipeline shows Deal value and Close date; an Onboarding pipeline shows Start date and Account manager — same field library, different visibility per pipeline.
Why a field might not show in a pipeline
If a field exists but is not visible in a pipeline, it is probably hidden for that pipeline. Go to Settings → Pipelines, select the pipeline, and review field visibility settings. This is intentional — it keeps each board clean without showing every possible field.
Fields on deal cards vs detail views
Show a field on the Kanban card if it helps you scan the board quickly — deal value, close date, and priority are good examples. Keep a field off the card if it is useful but not needed at a glance.
