How to import organizations from CSV

How to prepare and import a company or account list into Teamopipe as organizations.

Organization import is useful when you have a company list from another CRM, spreadsheet, or internal database. It creates account-level records before you link contacts and deals.

Prepare your CSV

One row per company. Organization name on every row (required). Add: Website, Description, Assignee, Industry, Company size, custom fields. Save as .csv. Create custom organization fields in Settings → Data fields before importing so they're available for column mapping.

Import organizations

Organizations → Import option → upload CSV → map each column to the matching field → Confirm. After import, open a few manually to check names, websites, and custom fields. Then link contacts to organizations from the contact detail page. If you have a complex import with contacts, organizations, and deals together, contact support before uploading — planning the mapping first is easier than cleaning up duplicates later.
