How to import deals from CSV

Import deals when moving from a spreadsheet, another CRM, or an old pipeline export. The cleanest imports start with a clean CSV and a pipeline that already has the right stages and fields.

Prepare the pipeline first

Settings → Pipelines → confirm stage names. Settings → Data fields → create any custom fields your CSV has extra columns for → make sure they're visible in the target pipeline. This prevents imported data landing in a pipeline that doesn't match your process.

Import deals

Open the target pipeline → three-dot menu → Import CSV → upload file → map columns to fields → Confirm. Review the first few imported deals. Common mistakes: stage names don't match, date formats inconsistent, deal values include currency symbols.
