Teamopipe is not showing in Gmail
The Teamopipe sidebar not showing in Gmail is the most common issue we hear about, and it's almost always fixable in under 2 minutes. Work through these steps in order — most people find the fix by step 2 or 3.
Step 1 — Refresh Gmail
Close the Gmail tab completely and reopen it. Sometimes two refreshes are needed, especially right after installing the extension or after Chrome auto-updates. This alone solves the issue for about 40% of users.
Step 2 — Re-activate the extension for your account
- Look for the Teamopipe icon in Chrome's toolbar (top-right, near the address bar). If you don't see it, click the puzzle piece icon to find it in your extensions list.
- Click the Teamopipe icon.
- Select "Use Teamopipe with this account."
- Refresh Gmail.
Step 3 — Scroll down in Gmail's left sidebar
The Teamopipe section appears below Gmail's standard labels (Inbox, Sent, Drafts). On smaller screens or with many Gmail labels, it can be hidden below the visible area. Scroll all the way down — you should see a "Teamopipe" section with your pipelines listed.
Step 4 — Check for Gmail Multiple Inboxes conflict
Gmail's Multiple Inboxes layout is known to conflict with extensions that inject a sidebar panel. If you use it, open Gmail Settings (gear icon → See all settings) → Inbox tab → change Inbox type from "Multiple Inboxes" to "Default", save, and refresh.
Step 5 — Clear Chrome cookies and cache
Stale cached data can prevent the extension from loading. Open Chrome Settings → Privacy and Security → Clear browsing data, select "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files", click Clear data, then reopen Gmail and sign back in.
Step 6 — Reinstall the extension
If nothing above worked, a clean reinstall usually does the trick — your data is stored in the cloud, so uninstalling deletes nothing. Go to chrome://extensions, remove Teamopipe, reinstall from the Chrome Web Store, sign in with Google, and refresh Gmail.
Note: Occasionally a Chrome update causes extensions to stop rendering in Gmail. When this happens, a fix ships via the Chrome Web Store automatically within 24–48 hours — if Teamopipe disappeared right after a Chrome update, wait a day and check again.
