How to create and edit contacts manually

Manual contacts are useful when you know a person should be in your CRM but there's no email thread or deal yet — referrals, event leads, partner introductions, future prospects.
Create a contact manually
Contacts → New Contact → enter name and email → add phone, organization, assignee → Save. Always add an email address when possible — it's the most useful identifier for linking messages and importing data.
Edit a contact
Contacts → search by name or email → click the contact → click any field to edit it. Fields include name, email, phone, organization, assignee, description, and custom fields.
Keep contact data readable
Add first and last names, link organizations, assign ownership, and use consistent phone formatting.
