How to revoke Google account access
How to disconnect Teamopipe from your Google account — including uninstalling the extension, revoking Google OAuth access, deleting your data, and cleaning up Gmail labels.
If you want to disconnect Teamopipe from your Google account — whether you’re switching accounts, stopping use of the product, or simply reviewing your connected apps — you can revoke access at any time. This article covers two levels of disconnection: removing the extension from Gmail, and fully revoking Google OAuth access.
Option 1 — Uninstall the Chrome extension
This removes Teamopipe from your Gmail sidebar immediately. Your data is preserved in Teamopipe’s cloud — if you reinstall later, everything is still there.
- Click the Extensions icon in Chrome’s toolbar (puzzle piece icon, top right)
- Click Manage Extensions
- Find Teamopipe CRM for Gmail and click Remove
- Confirm the removal
Teamopipe disappears from Gmail immediately. Gmail labels applied by Teamopipe (stage labels on email threads) remain in your Gmail until removed manually from Gmail Settings → Labels.
Option 2 — Revoke Google OAuth access
This removes Teamopipe’s permission to access your Gmail entirely, at the Google account level. Do this if you want to fully disconnect Teamopipe from Google regardless of whether the extension is installed.
- Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Find Teamopipe in the list of apps with access to your Google account
- Click on it and select Remove Access
After revoking access, Teamopipe will no longer be able to read Gmail or apply labels. The extension will stop working and will ask you to sign in again if you open it. Your data in Teamopipe’s database is not automatically deleted by revoking Google access — see below if you want your data deleted too.
Deleting your data entirely
Uninstalling the extension and revoking Google access stops Teamopipe from operating, but your data (deals, contacts, pipeline configuration) remains stored in Teamopipe’s database. If you want it deleted:
- Export a copy first if you want to keep your data — pipeline → three-dot menu → Export to CSV
- Email support@teamopipe.com with your Gmail login address and a request to delete your account and data
- We will delete the account and all associated data within 1–2 business days and confirm by email
Cleaning up Gmail labels left by Teamopipe
Teamopipe creates Gmail labels for each pipeline stage (e.g. “Lead”, “Proposal”). These labels remain in your Gmail after uninstalling. To remove them:
- Go to Gmail Settings (gear icon → See all settings)
- Click the Labels tab
- Scroll down to find Teamopipe-created labels and click Remove next to each one
Removing a label from Gmail Settings removes it from all emails that had it applied.
If you need help with any of these steps, email support@teamopipe.com — we typically respond within 4 hours on business days.
