GDPR, data storage and privacy

This article covers how Teamopipe stores data, your rights under GDPR (export, deletion, correction), how authentication works, and where to find the full privacy policy.

Teamopipe is used by people across the EU and globally. This article covers how data is stored, what your rights are under GDPR, and how to exercise those rights.

What data Teamopipe stores

Teamopipe stores the data you actively create in the product: deal names and fields, contacts, organizations, tasks, comments, and activity logs. It also stores email thread metadata (sender addresses and thread IDs) needed to link emails to deals. It does not store the content of your emails.

Your rights

Under GDPR and similar data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. You also have the right to export your data and to object to certain types of processing.

Exporting your data

You can export all your pipeline data, contacts, and organizations to CSV at any time from within Teamopipe — no need to contact us. See the CSV import and export article for the full steps. This export is available on all plans.

Deleting your data and account

To stop using Teamopipe, simply uninstall the Chrome extension. This removes it from your Gmail immediately.

To delete your account and all associated data from Teamopipe’s servers, email support@teamopipe.com with your Gmail login address and a deletion request. We will delete the account and data within 1–2 business days and confirm when it’s done.

Correcting your data

All data you’ve entered into Teamopipe is editable directly within the product — deal fields, contact details, organization information. Simply open the record and update any field.

Authentication and Google OAuth

Teamopipe uses Google OAuth for authentication — you sign in with your Google account and Teamopipe never stores your password. The OAuth token that allows Teamopipe to access Gmail is stored securely and used only for the purposes described in the Gmail data access article. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google account settings.

Third-party data sharing

Teamopipe does not sell user data and does not share personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers (hosting, databases) under appropriate data processing agreements.

Full privacy policy

The complete privacy policy — including data retention periods, legal basis for processing, and the full list of your rights — is available at teamopipe.com/en/policies/privacy-policy.

For any privacy-related requests or questions, email support@teamopipe.com. Legal or complex privacy questions may require additional time to respond to appropriately.
